Meet Frank

Frank was born and raised in East Taylor Township to Agnes and Bill Burns. Like many in the community, Frank learned the importance of hard work, a strong faith, and old-fashioned family values from his parents by seeing what true work ethic looks like.

As a kid, when helping out at the family restaurant, the Rosebud Inn, he saw his parents put in 12 hour days and work holidays to put food on the table for the family. For the entirety of Frank's career in public service, he heeded the advice of his father when making decisions about the community he loves and the people he serves: "never let anyone outwork you and don't let up. They can't buy your work ethic or what's in your heart. They can't buy respect or credibility — it's earned."

He never let that advice escape him, and after working in the dental care industry, providing products and services to seniors across the country, he was called to public service and was elected as a Township Supervisor in his hometown of East Taylor. From his time as a supervisor, he learned the importance of constantly learning from and listening to the constituents he served. Always having an open door and an open heart to the concerns and struggles of the community, he knew that when it came to politics, the people always come first.

"It costs a lot more today than only a few years ago to pay bills and put food on the table. That's why I voted to cut taxes, lower prescription drug costs, and deliver over $337 million for local projects in our area."
